November 23rd 2011, I lost the love of my entire life!
Tony Taylor, my handsome,loving,funny,caring, sweet, wonderful husband of 26 yrs., and my most passionate love for 29 yrs., went home to be with the Lord and left me here to carry on with out him! I know he wouldn’t have if he didn’t have to, so I rejoice for him and am very glad that he is sick and suffering no more!

So now I must look forward… and press on with the prayers and help of my many family & family of friends (to whom I am very,very grateful!) as I know he would want me too!

So 2012 starts off with a whole new chapter of life for me and mine that I am sad, yet glad to write! Only God knows what the future holds but I know it is going to be good… even with the hole that is in my heart where he will always be!

Well I’m no longer with the ‘Monroe Powell Platters’ as of May 2008.However I have upcoming shows with my gospel group, ‘Vortex’ and others.Check the shows page for more info!

Having toured North America, Several parts of Europe,London,Scotland,Sweden,The UK, Scandinavia,The South Pacific,The Philippines, Japan and Australia with this well known group,I’m once again on my own catching my dream! I currently work with other singers, bands and groups while working on my own solo career goals!

It’s my plan to put out a new CD of standards & popular cover songs in 2012 after many request for it, I know it’s time!…that’s the goal! Please send up a prayer and well wishes for me, I’ll take all the help I can get! Many thanks in advance!

I’m Back from Australia was on tour with “The Monroe Powell Platters for an awesome month!”
I will try and put up pictures…soon as I can figure out how…lol. Australia was both awesome and beautiful and the people are both beautiful and wonderful!

I began singing with ‘The Amazing Platters’, Eddie Daniels group June of 1989. So I have been performing Platters music for 22 yrs now.

A very strong solo performer and lead singer with a vocal range of 1st & 2nd soprano & alto. I also perform as a solo artist when not working with
“The Platters”.

I’m still, “doing my own thing” when not working with various other groups.
